El Niño and Climate Dynamics Infographic

2023 | Ohio University School of Visual Communication

Designed in 2023, as the world's climate shifted into a historically strong El Niño event, "El Niño and Climate Dynamics" aims to explain the phenomenon to a U.S. viewer with no prior knowledge of El Niño. This work was displayed in the 2023 student showcase at the School of Visual Communication's VisCom Gallery and at the 2024 Visual Discovery Conference.

Featuring four main graphics, this poster explains global and U.S. environmental changes, oceanic temperature trends, and the some potential repercussions of a historically strong El Niño.
